Eleonore Desnos Age? 18

What do you do? I'm working in East London; in a second-hand
store on Redchurch Street that has just opened. We sell records;
fashion and furniture.

What are you loving right now? the summer coming

What inspires you? my job, finding original pieces from the 50's, 60's and the 70's and make them look fantastic in my shop.

What do you love about London? the eclectic people, the markets and their great deals, the music scene, the fashion.

What 3 places are a must for those visiting London? Tate Modern, East London (brick lane and shoreditch) and Portobello market

Fav TV Show? The Simpson's

What's your most loved gadget? Sunglasses

In your opinion what are the powerful brands in the world right now?
cheap brands like H M or Topshop and rising ones like April 77 or
Cheap Monday. Even if these get their inspiration from bigger brands;
they get success because they are affordable and the pieces well cut.

What's the most interesting place you've visited in the last 12 months? a farm to renovate in the north of France

What's your fav city in the world and why? London, there's something amazing about the city.

If you could fill your wardrobe with the collection of any fashion designer in the world, who would it be and why? Tom Ford.

<title>STREET STALKER - Stella Rose Saint Clair, Seattle.</title>
			<link>http://www.thecoolhunter.net/index.php?option=com_content&amp;task=view&amp;id=1016&amp;Itemid=37</link>
<description>Stella Rose Saint Clair Age: 20

What do you do? Fashion really. I draw pinups, make music,
dabble in burlesque and street art, but its all just for fashions sake.
I make clothes, and not in school or anything, oh, I also work at a movie theater...a haunted one.

What are you loving right now? Sequins, long hair, fifties dresses, and rare music.

What inspires you? Girlie things. Bows, curls, lace, the
color pink. People like Nina Hagen who aren’t afraid to look like a big
drag queen once in a while, and people who make everybody uncomfortable
without really trying.

What do you love about Seattle? I love how gay Seattle is and I
love how many outlets there are for artists. The mayor is trying to
change all that right now. Buildings all over Capitol Hill (the
&quot;artsiest&quot; and &quot;gayest&quot; part of the city) are being torn down to be
replaced by horrible ugly condos that cost upwards of $500,000 dollars.
All the independent businesses are being put out now. All the artists
are slowly being replaced by middle aged yuppies who go to their condo
gyms everyday to work off their expensive steak dinners made by some
working class kid who they consider unfavorable even though that kid is
the reason this area is so trendy and appealing to them in the first
place! I'm currently waiting for a revolt. Like involving torches and
pitchforks. I have neither of these things in my possession, therefore
someone else gets to start it...

What 3 places are a must for those visiting Seattle? FOOD comes first. Try my vegan suggestions of:
The Wayward Cafes greasy diner food (worker owned and operated!)
Hillside Quickie vegan soul food or for cheepies you'll find me at Than Brothers Pho, or an Ethiopian joint!
for FASHION check out:
Atlas Clothing for your hilarious eighties fix (at a bargain!)
The Pretty Parlor for your handmade with love indie designer fashions.
And check out local brand Hipposchemes online!
And third most, for FUN go do these things:
See local electro shock rock act Sexually Active Corpse, before he too is pushed out of the city.
Go to a midnight movie at the Egyptian theater. Cult classics galore and a staff who doesn't care how drunk you are.
Go shopping at &quot;the bins&quot; in Georgetown. The lowest of the low in the
goodwill shopping circuit. Enjoy sifting through plastic troughs of
random crap! What goodies will you pull out?? An awesome old &quot;care
bear&quot; suitcase like the one I found? Or the soiled Santa themed
corduroy toilet seat cover my boyfriend proceeded to wear as a mask?
Its like playing go fish
with your childhood and s.t.d.s! And its priced per pound!

Do you read magazines/newspapers, if so, which? I like &quot;fruits and street&quot; magazine. I like fashion magazines. I like pretty pictures...

Any websites you read on a regular basis? I'm partial to this one at the moment (http://library.med.utah.edu/WebPath/PEDHTML/PEDIDX.html#3).
What TV shows do you enjoy watching? Mrs. Mouth! Always! (the New Yorkers know)

What's your most loved gadget? My sewing machine.

In your opinion what are the powerful brands in the world right now? Aww,
you know. The most awful ones always. Mc. Donald's, Disney,...</description>

Forget what the designers say, most trends emerge not from their
studios but organically from the street. Cool young things all over the
world are the true pioneers of fashion, wearing clothes in new ways by
customizing and accessorizing and creating a pastiche of retro and
modern. Here's this weeks best pics from all the street style (fashion/STREET-STYLE/) blogs.

			<link>http://www.thecoolhunter.net/index.php?option=com_content&amp;task=view&amp;id=926&amp;Itemid=37</link>
			<description>K-TRON (girl on the right)

What do you do? I’m known in art and clubbing circles as K-tron, I’m 25 and I promote the club “All you can eat” and work at artist, Stuart Semple’s (http://www.stuartsemple.com/) East
London studio as Stuart’s studio director, which means I do pretty much
everything. We have a lot of products and a very busy exciting work
space; in one day I can go from marketing strategy to copywriting to
product design to party host...It’s an awesome job.

What are you loving right now? I’m loving my friends and the exciting creative energies of London right now.

Who or what inspires you? Anybody bold and passionate inspires me.

Are you reading any books at the moment? I’m reading a few books
at the moment...I’m grabbling with “In Search of Schrödinger's Cat:
Quantum Physics And Reality” and Brian Wilson’s autobiography,
“Wouldn’t it Be Nice.&quot;

Do you read magazines/newspapers, if so, which? I read
quite a lot of magazines, I-D, New Scientist and Specialten are my
favorites at the moment.

Any websites you read on a regular basis? I
visit My Space A LOT and I use Wikipedia and Google Earth often. You
Tube is always on! Obviously www.ayce.tv and www.stuartsemple.com are
regular cyber haunts too!

What TV shows do you watch? I really liked Brass Eye, Nighty Night, but I hardly ever watch TV now.
Who are you listening to on your IPOD? I don’t have an iPod, I would only trash it, but if I did I would be playing Beck, Timberland and Justice.

If you could fill your wardrobe with the collection of any fashion designer in the world, who would it be? I wouldn’t want to do that, it would be really uninspiring, but if I did Carri Cassette Playa would suit my look I guess.

In your opinion what are the powerful brands in the world right now?
Apple, American Apparel and Vice are all influential “cool” brands,
Topshop and Urban Outfitters are doing well at relating/attempting to
define youth culture too.

What’s the most interesting place you’ve visited in the last 12 months? I went to Liverpool for the Biennial and saw some amazing art there, I love the city also.

What 3 places are a must for those visiting London? In
London you must see everything! It’s personal but I enjoy the East-End
for the TV soap style sensation of knowing people as I pass and I like
Kew gardens a lot.

Do you have any words of wisdom? There is the potential
for total joy in this universe if we allow it to happen.
If you had
someone play you in a film, who would it be? I think Snoop Dogg in a
wig would pull it off.
What question should we ask the next person? Ask
the next person whether they are happy.

Do you have a myspace account?
Yeah I’m a My space fiend. Www.myspace.com/ktronkill (http://www.myspace.com/ktronkiller)

HER FASHION STYLE:

Cap: This is a Kill Pop cap and was a gift from the Killpop designer Buster Bennett.
T-Shirt: This is an Anti-Pasti shirt and was also a gift from a friend.
